"The Student Council assigned a committee to determine undergraduate reaction to the proposed motion to award a single college degree - the A.B. - and to drop the ancient language requirement for that degree" -- P. 1. A copy of the poll distributed to students by the committee is attached. The report is signed by Allen L. Crouch (AB 1947), Ronald M. Foster (AB 1947), Robert S. Sturgis (AB 1944), Caldwell Titcomb (AB 1947), and John H. Wermer (AB 1947), sub-committee of the Student Council committee on Curriculum and Tenure.
